Self Employed HGV Drivers and porters required for Furniture Removals Sub contractor : London

Immediate start available for the right candidate. We are an expanding small and friendly removal subcontractor who are seeking self employed removal drivers (HGV2), and removal porters. Both roles start off on a temporary basis, will lead to a more permanent position as move into the busy summer period and beyond. We specialise in packing wrapping loading and delivering of high value furniture, paintings, and antiques. The nature of this work requires a great deal of care due to the items that we will be handling. High levels of stamina are also required as you will be carrying furniture and boxes up and down stairs most of the day. You will need. - Care and consideration for clients belongs - Reliability and punctuality - Good customer relation skills - Physically fit, strong and health - Self motivated with a can do attitude - Must be neat and presentable - Have a Knowledge of London and map reading skills The ideal candidate will have two years’ experience of Manual handling Export Wrapping Household packing Commercial removals Typical day is 07.30 – 17.00 and the start of work is NW10. Every day is different and some days we can finish earlier, some days later, candidate must be able to take the rough with the smooth. All staff are required to wear steel toe capped shoes/trainers when working.
