General Manager Role up to £40k per annum : London

Three Star Hotel General Manager – North £ 35,000 to £40,000 per annum plus benefits and GM perks We are looking to recruit a General Manager for a small hotel belonging to an international hotel chain. The three star standard hotel is a modern contemporary property consisting 80 bedrooms, restaurant, two bars, 24 hour room service, conference and banqueting facility. The General Manager will be leading a team of highly professional managers. Successful candidate will be from Sales and Marketing Background as the General Manager also has the responsibility of selling and promoting the hotel maximising room revenue. This hotel needs a General Manager who is hands on and who is not going to shy away from day to day challenges whether it is operational or IT related matters. The selected candidate is someone who is a great man manager, able to implement effective systems in place to successfully run the hotel when necessary. Identify, training and development needs, search and win new business for the hotel, monitor and increase room sales, M&E sales as well as Food and Beverage revenues. Pro-actively improve standards, setting budgetary targets with the assistance of Finance Director and motivating the team achieving set goal. This role is suitable for a new General Manager, Operations Manager, Hotel Manager with Sales & Marketing experience or someone experienced in hotel management who is looking for a challenging role or looking for the first Hotel General Manager role. In return the General Manger will be paid between £35,000 to £40,000, 28 days holidays and other company perks offered to hotel General Managers. Selection process consist of initial interview and second interview with the Managing Director, Finance Director and Human Resource Director and job offer.
