Part-Time Receptionist : City of London

THE COMPANY Our company, based in the heart of the City, We currently require a professional and experienced part-time receptionist. Salary: 19,000 per annum The hours are 8am-4pm, 3 days a week. The work days will be Monday, Thursday and Friday. Every other Friday the shift will change to 10am – 6pm. IF YOU ARE NOT AVAILABLE TO WORK THESE DATES AND TIMES, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY FOR THE ROLE. THE ROLE. To meet and greet Clients Visitors, to inform relevant parties of their arrival. To escort Clients (internal/external) to their meeting rooms, take their coats, umbrella, briefcase, etc. To ensure clients needs are anticipated and met at all times and pro-actively seek out ways in which to improve client satisfaction. Check the conference room bookings and liaise where appropriate with the kitchen/post room regarding refreshments and requirements. Ensure rooms are clean, tidy and stocked with stationery and other equipment missing or damaged. Receiving by-hand deliveries. Recording details and notifying the appropriate person. To liaise with all relevant managers regarding complaints, faults and repairs and keep the client informed. To be fully aware of all firm policies, and work within the given procedures and standards. To be an ambassador of the firm at all times,reliable, honest and an active member of the team. To pro-actively promote the firm and its facilities. THE PERSON Ability to demonstrate a deep understanding of professional client services and care. Excellent organisational skills. Excellent “hands on” experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Smart and professional. Willingness to share best practice knowledge and experience is a key success factor. Must be willing to work as part of a team. Good verbal and written communication skills (fluent in written and spoken English – GCSE English essential). Good interpersonal skills at all levels. Ability to work alone and use own initiative. Ability to adopt a proactive approach to work.
