Big Local App Bromley Part time Sales Executives Borough of Bromley Field Sales Role – not office-based Flexible hours Good earnings potential, commission-based The Big Local App Bromley is a smartphone application endorsed by Bromley Council and designed to give residents of Bromley instant access to the many wonderful services, businesses and entertainment in the borough via their mobile phones. Our mission is to drive people into loving local and the free app for Apple and Android smartphones provides access to: Council information and services local news and events local education services local theatre and cinema listings local sports and leisure facilities local tourist information over 2000 local businesses, with an increasing number of businesses sharing useful content via the app, and access to all the businesses in the borough running specials through our voucher function We are currently looking to recruit experienced sales executives to build relationships with decision makers in local Bromley businesses in order to get them to market their businesses to the local community via the app. Suitable candidates must have a proven sales track record. Telesales experience will be advantageous as it will allow you to generate appointments at which you could then provide a demo of the app on your (own) iphone or ipad. Training and marketing materials will be provided but it will be up to you to make contact with local businesses in the borough (typically by phone or knocking on doors) and build your sales pipeline. It goes without saying that this is a role for a self-starter, who is comfortable selling face to face and happy working on their own to meet targets. It is also suited to someone that lives in the borough and already has a network in the area. Fluent English and a polite tone are a necessity. You will be paid up to £60 per listing sold, with a £500 bonus if you sell 20 or more in a calendar month. Depending on your performance over the first 3 months, there is the possibility of this becoming a full time role, at which point an enhanced salary package will be discussed.
