Warehouse Operatives + reach truck drivers required in Portbury – in cold chain environment : Portbury Dock, Bristol



Gist Ltd are recruiting warehouse operatives for a new depot, just opened in Royal Portbury Dock. Previous warehouse experience will be beneficial but not necessary. Responsibilities: - Picking orders using scan guns - Decanting of product into customer trays - Moving pallets using pump trucks and scan guns - Loading and unloading vehicles using manual handling equipment - Other general warehouse duties Who do we want? - Enthusiastic, energetic, team players - People who will ensure they, and their colleagues, work in a safe environment. We are offering full time contracts which guarantees a minimum of 32.5 hours per week. However we envisage in the near future that this will be more like 40 hours with potential for overtime. The hourly pay offered is £7.20 per hour and this is a flat rate for every day of the week. Work after 8pm is likely to attract an extra pound per hour TBC. If you hold a valid reach truck driver’s licence then your hourly rate will be £8.00 per hour. Understand that despite this, you will not spend your whole shift on a reach truck and will be expected to do all other job roles as well.
