Director of Sales Events 12 Month Maternity Cover : London



Luxury London Hotel Group with two stunning and contemporary lifestyle hotels is looking to recruit an experienced Director of Sales Events, who will be responsible for driving and generating new business for the events department of the two hotels. You will be in a similar role, either within or outside of hospitality but with the ability to deal with high profile celebrity clientele, A-List guests, Chairmen, CEO and MD’s of FTSE 100 and International Blue Chip Companies from around the world. Both hotels are used extensively throughout the year to host numerous corporate and business meetings, events, functions, parties, banqueting and ceremonies including weddings and birthdays. A major requirement of this role is to focus on sales and more importantly – conversion, from the initial sales pitch, right up to signing on the dotted line. This KPI will be strictly monitored by the board of directors and senior management, and you will be required to report your progress on a regular basis. A proven track record of successfully attracting new business and converting it into confirmed revenue will need to be shown, and if you have the proverbial ‘Little Black Book’ of past and/or current clients, then this will be a definite advantage to your candidacy for the role. Fluency in English, IT and specifically the use of ADELPHI & OPERA is a must for this crucial and key appointment. Quoted salary is based on experience and background of the applicant and bonus etc is subject to discussion with the client directly.
