THE ROLE – RETURNS SUPERVISOR – ECOMMERCE RETAIL DISTRIBUTION * Responsibility for the management of worldwide returned goods to the Distribution Centre. The role will include all activities related to returns flow, reverse logistics, returns revention and backward flow of product to maximise resale potential. * Working within the operations management structure you will have a team of operators as direct reports. * Liaise with carriers to ensure prompt return of orders and initiate new Return services. * Manage credit process to ensure prompt refund. * Manage the disposition of returned stock through appropriate channel. * Liaise with third party operations to maintain quality and speed of Returns operation at international Return centres * Manage the operation to maximise output and service levels. * Reinforce QC with continuous training and improvements. * Forward planning for peak and promotional activities as well as future growth * Analyse and react to data within the reports. * Central point of contact for Customer Services and other Head Office departments for operational issues. * Liaise with carriers and third party international and return processors. * Instigate and project manage process upgrades with I.T,, QC, Marketing and Logistics to sell the function to the end user. * Budget Control * Training Experience of the RETURNS SUPERVISOR – ECOMMERCE RETAIL DISTRIBUTION: * Experience of supervising a Returns team. * WMS experience is essential. * Strong IT literacy * Experience of working within a fast paced retail distribution is essential. * We are seeking an individual that is dynamic, a strong and decisive leader and results orientated with a drive for perfection, strong attention to detail and strong analytical skills. * Experience in managing returns flow via multiple channels. * Experience of enhancing customer retention/relations.
